Today we were lucky enough to meet Satyen Dayal, Senior Director championing digital transformation, along with a number of more junior members of staff, some of the HR team (Jed Just, on the graduate scheme, Nicola Matti, Recruitment resourcer & Hannah Beagley, HR Project coordinator). Sat gave a presentation about the overall transformation of PR and the move towards traditional advertising and marketing. He explained in more detail how, and why, PR practitioners in the future will have to be more all encompassing in their approach to communications. We then had the chance to test out Edelman’s new Entry Level Scheme application process; a social media and tech treasure hunt, spanning Snapchat, Instagram and all over the Internet. A seriously cool way to apply for a job, and actively testing tech skills and story telling ability.
